First Whole Day in Lausanne!
Yesterday, I arrived at 12pm to Milan, Italy. I slept through the entire flight and was lucky enough to have the aisle seat and have 3 empty seats next to me.
Upon arriving, I took the train to Gallarate, where I then took the train to Brig, and had a short transfer to Lausanne finally.
I met my the person I'm subleasing from for the first time, and then I basically bought some groceries for breakfast, and then went to sleep.
I only woke up once in the middle of the night! But I then woke up at around 7am due to the noise (living by the train station). I then proceeded to get ready, eat some toast, and then head out to get a bike from my supervisor John. I couldn't find the keys that John misplaced, but I was able to get his bike thankfully.
I then went to Aligro and bough some bulk pasta, ground beef, and other groceries to meal prep. I then embarked on a journey to find a towel, and a nice blanket. I finally found it at Lidl, and was able to buy it. After going back, I meal prepped, then showered, then went to meet Felix, a scientist at LPI doing research and that will be guiding me during my time here.
Coming back, I then went to do some work, buy some more veggies for cooking, cooked, and then ate!
